doris weinberger ist freischaffende Künstlerin mit einer inter-/nationalen Ausstellungs-, Interaktions- und Performancepraxis in öffentlichen und institutionellen Räumen.

Ihre künstlerische Praxis ist vorwiegend interdisziplinär und kollaborativ und umfasst die Formate Intermedia-Installation, Interaktion und Performance. Ihre Arbeit reflektiert Mechanismen von Repräsentation und Projektion bei der Produktion hegemonialer Bild- und (sprachlicher) Strukturen. In Praktiken wie Dekonstruktion, Transformation, Legendenbildung. Wichtiger Bestandteil ihrer Formate ist der Raum für gemeinsame Reflexion, die sich mit den jeweiligen Themen wie z.B. Gleichberechtigung, Arbeitsbedingungen, Gemeinschaft sowie alternativen und hybriden Formen des Lebens und Handelns innerhalb des Systems Erde befassen.

doris weinberger ist Gründungsmitglied der Künstlerinnenkollektive mark und ANTZ! sowie der interdisziplinären Plattform RAUMFINDER. Sie unterrichtet performative Methoden und partizipative Strategien an Universitäten und Hochschulen, hält Vorträge und berät Organisationen.

doris weinberger is a freelance artist with an international exhibition, interactive and performance practice in public and institutional spaces.

Her artistic practice is predominantly interdisciplinary and collaborative, encompassing the formats of intermedia installation, interaction and performance. Her work reflects on mechanisms of representation and projection in the production of hegemonic visual and (linguistic) structures. Through practices such as deconstruction, transformation and the creation of narratives.
